My favourite commons discovery in the last 20 years has been understanding that wild plants and mushrooms do not have private property status under English law regardless of who thinks they own the land…. I therefore see foraging as a way of enjoying the commons they forgot to enclose when they enclosed the land and a way for us to all be commoners together everywhere all the time…If anyone is still around tomorrow I would be up for sharing/ exchanging foraging knowledge with folk in the nearby park. Could meet outside the Lansdown Hall tomorrow at 10 am.
